Terms –These are the terms regarding the use of this website:

  1. Your use constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Policies
  2. Talana Organics reserves the rights to change these Terms and Policies at any time by posting changes online. Your continued use of this site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of this agreement as modified
  3. You agree to be bound by the laws of the State of New South Wales
  4. Talana Organics will not be held responsible where your account or computer terminal is used without your consent. It is your responsibility to maintain the confidentiality of your account and access to your computer terminal. It is your duty to keep your credit card in a secure location, and not to divulge your details so as to permit unauthorized use.
  5. If these Terms and Policies are not accepted in full, the use of this site must be terminated immediately.

Privacy

Talana Organics respects your privacy. Your personal details will not be disclosed or sold, unless ordered by a court of law. From time to time we will send you relevant information emails regarding new or promotional products for which you have previously registered your interest. If you are receiving promotional information from Talana Organics and do not wish to receive this information any longer, just follow the links at the bottom of any newsletter to unsubscribe, or contact us.

If you have subscribed to our newsletter and no longer wish to receive it, you can click on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of your newsletter.

Pricing

Talana Organics reserves the right to change prices without notice. All pricing on Talana Organics is in Australian Dollars (AUD) and is inclusive of GST. The amount of GST will be shown at the checkout as applicable.

Ordering

There are a number of ways that you can place an order with Talana Organics:

  1. Online – Orders can be made Online via our user-friendly shopping cart.
  2. Email - We accept orders via email. Simply email order@talanaorganics.com.au to let us know what you want, and your method of payment. Do not send Credit Card details via email. We will contact you within 1 business day with order confirmation and to arrange payment.

Payment Methods

We accept payment via the following means:

  1. Credit Card – VISA and MasterCard only
  2. Direct Deposit – the account details for this option will be provided at the checkout.
  3. Money Order – Please make Money Order out to "Talana Organics"
  4. Cheques and Money Orders should include your name, order number, address and daytime contact phone number on the reverse, and should be mailed to the following address:

Payment Clearance

Goods paid for by Direct Deposit, Money Order, or Cheque will not be dispatched until payment is cleared.

Out of Stock Items

Occasionally, some items will be out of stock, so when this happens, we will contact you immediately and give you the option to either wait, choose an alternative product, or cancel the order.

Exchanges and Refunds

At Talana Organics we appreciate that although the standard of our product is exceptional, from time to time a customer may purchase an item that is not appropriate. Should this be the case we encourage you to contact us via email to arrange an exchange. Your satisfaction is important to us. Contact MUST be made within 7 days of receipt of your order for goods to be accepted for refund or credit. Exchanges will happily be given if the item is returned unused, unworn, with all packaging and labels intact. Please ensure that when sending items back to Talana Organics that they are packaged carefully. An additional delivery fee for exchanged items will be charged.

If we are not able to supply a suitable item for exchange we can offer you a refund for your returned item (unused, unworn, with all packaging and labels intact). We are only able to offer refunds for the value of the item and not including the initial cost of shipping the item to the customer.

Please note:

  • Sale items are not exchangeable, and all sales are final
  • Books and food items cannot be returned for Exchange or Refund

It is important that you insure the whole value of the package. This protects you in case the package is damaged or lost during delivery. Remember, we can only exchange or refund you for items received back in our store. Post the package pre-paid to:

Please retain your postal and insurance receipts. Credit in the amount of the purchase price, excluding shipping, will be issued to you in the same account as used in the original purchase.

Talana Organics reserves the right to refuse returned merchandise if we do not receive the merchandise in original condition. In such a case, the items will be returned to you. If the shipment is rejected, we reserve the right to liquidate the inventory and withhold credit. All costs related to the return must be paid by the customer

Security

Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology ensures information is safely encrypted or scrambled. This means SSL encrypts your order including your credit card number prior to sending them to the online retailer. This sophisticated encryption process ensures that prying eyes are unable to decode your personal data when it travels from your computer to us and ensures your privacy & the integrity of your order.

SSL is the system that is used by all reputable online retailers. It is compatible with Internet Explorer.

Faulty Goods

At Talana Organics, every dispatched item, is checked and packaged with care. However we are unable to take responsibility for loss or damage of goods in transit. Should an item be faulty, we urge the purchaser to contact us via phone, or email to discuss. Faulty items must be returned within 7 days of receipt, with labels and packaging intact. Talana Organics will give a full refund for faulty items, on approval of fault. Shipping costs will not be included in refund.

We cannot accept returns of items already washed or used so please be aware of this and be sure you are satisfied prior to washing.

Gift Service

Online shopping is perfect for gift-giving, as your gift can be sent directly to the person. To do this, simply specify a different delivery address from your billing address at the checkout.

You can also purchase a gift voucher for $20, $50, $75, or $100 and have it sent to you or the recipient.

Note regarding Gift Vouchers:

  • They are not transferable
  • They are not redeemable for cash
  • They are only valid for 6 months from date of issue (check expiry date on Gift Voucher)
  • They cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer
  • They are only available to Australian residents

Packaging

We endeavour to recycle all packaging our goods are supplied in. What this means is that you will receive your goods packed in an assortment of packages using a variety of fillers. For example, bubble wrap, shredded paper and re-used tissue paper. We cannot be held responsible for the types of packaging our suppliers use and are sorry if you are offended by receiving plastic bags or other nasties. We see it as better to re-use these items over and over again rather than dispose of them.

If you order an item that is in a glass such as a Moisturiser, our first choice at Talana Organics will be to pack it in shredded paper. If you receive it in Plastic bubble wrap instead, or filler, it will be because someone has sent us bubble wrap and we prefer to recycle it instead of throw it away. Please do the same. Please re-use any other packaging that arrives to you from us.

We have provided all of the information we have about each product. When making choices about organic, natural, environmentally friendly, and biodynamic products, you should select what is best for you. This might require you to consult a health care professional.
